During the off-season, the French Open champion was recently featured in an interview where he talked about different aspects of his tennis journey. Meanwhile, Rafael Nadal was asked how things have changed for him after entering parenthood. He was further asked about how he is balancing different aspects of his journey after the birth of his first child.

Nadal answered by stating that he just became a father. However, he already feels that something has changed in his journey both as a person and athlete.

Nadal went on to say, “there is a person who totally depends on us. It is an indescribable feeling and love. I also tell you that I am not the only father in the world and that there are millions who have been parents before us.”

The Spanish tennis legend further revealed that he and his wife are happy parents.

The 22-time singles Grand Slam champion has currently shifted his focus on his parental duties during the off-season. However, Nadal is trying to balance things both as an athlete and a parent.

The Spanish tennis legend returned to the court for the Paris Masters event in November after the birth of his first child. However, Nadal was not in his best form as he faced a first-round defeat against the American tennis player, Tommy Paul. Later on, he also participated in the ATP Finals, where he faced some of the top players on the tour.

After that Nadal has also been traveling across the globe in order to participate in various exhibition events. However, he is currently enjoying some time with his wife and child while also being focused on the upcoming Grand Slam event in Australia.
