Most people would think that Novak Djokovic does not have a chance at winning the French Open because of Rafael Nadal who has won the title 12 times. But that is not Goran Ivanisevic’s reason for why Novak won’t win there.

While Thiem has given Novak troubles in the past, that is not going to stop the Serb from trying to win the French Open. And he will want to win it even more right now as he could complete the double career Grand Slam. No one in the Open Era has completed this and that is why he will be focused on completing it.

Also, this record could play a major role in deciding who ends up as the GOAT of tennis. This is a debate that has been going on for a long time and if Novak Djokovic completes the double Career Grand Slam, he could very well put an end to this long-standing debate. Many will be hoping that he will do exactly that.
