Recently, Rafael Nadal was seen playing Golf. He is in Washington and was competing in the Citi Open this week. One lucky fan came across him and the Spaniard was warm enough to click a picture with him. Over the years, we have seen the Spaniard indulge in playing Golf.

Rafael Nadal has a deep liking for Golf

At times, he has even competed in tournaments on a smaller scale. Last year, Rafa finished in 6th place in the Balearic Golf Championship. As compared to the rest of the players on Tour, Nadal’s skills in Golf are way superior.?

Nadal’s love for the sport of golf is well known and he shares a close association with golf ace, Tiger Woods. Rafael Nadal competed once again at the Balearic Golf Championship and fans of both golf and tennis couldn’t get enough of the Spaniard.

Coming on to tennis, Rafa was competing in the Citi Open but suffered an early exit in the second round. His journey was ended by a South African player, Lloyd Harris. It was the biggest win of his career. However, the tournament has reached the semifinal stage and the four players that remain are Kei Nishikori, Jannik Sinner, Jenson Brooksby, and Mackenzie McDonald.

Reflecting on Nadal’s season, he began competing in Australia and came as far as the quarterfinal at the Open. During the clay season, he won titles in Rome and Barcelona. However, he lost in the semifinal to Novak Djokovic at the French Open.?

He decided to skip the Wimbledon Championships and the Tokyo Olympics. Nonetheless, he’s back again competing. We wish him all the best for the US Open and the rest of the season.
