World Number two, Rafael Nadal was dealing with a hand injury soon after he lifted up his 19th Slam in New York and later he skipped Shanghai Masters 2019 pertaining to the same reason. However, at Rolex Paris Masters 2019 the Spaniard ace is sanguine about his run in the French capital and is determined to play tennis at the highest level.
“As you know, I had my problem in the hand after the US Open, so I couldn’t finish the Laver Cup the way that I wanted. Then I had to stop for a while. And I feel better, that’s why I’m here. And I am here with the goal to play my 100 percent. That’s what I expect,” Rafael Nadal said.

Nadal left for Geneva with the hand injury, later his injury got aggravated at Laver Cup 2019. Since then, Rafa just played an exhibition match in Kazakhstan against Novak Djokovic and from there, he flew directly to France for Rolex Paris Masters 2019.

The second seed in Paris, Rafa Nadal mentioned that the hard courts of Bercy are quite fast this year and the Court Pace Index is 40 this year.
