Every tennis fan would agree with what Nicolas has said here because of how mentally strong Rafa is. We have seen this mental strength on numerous occasions especially when he is injured. Rafa has always managed to come back from an injury in the strongest possible way and it is that mentality that has made him one of the greatest players of all time.
The Spaniard will now be looking forward to not just being one of the greatest players of all time but to be the greatest tennis player of all time or the GOAT. This title is something that is important to him and he will get it when he holds one record – the record for the most Grand Slams.

This is a record that has been held by his rival Roger Federer for a long time but he has gotten very close. In fact, after his win at the 2019 US Open, Rafa is just one Slam away from equaling the record. And he will be looking for the next opportunity to do exactly that.
That opportunity is going to come in August when the ATP Tour returns from its suspension. And many fans will be hoping that Rafa will finally put an end to the GOAT debate at that time.
