The coronavirus pandemic brought the entire sporting world to a standstill. Subsequently, professional athletes are spending their time away from the game, confined to their homes. Rafael Nadal is also spending quality time with his family during coronavirus lockdown.

The Mallorcan is excessively active on social media since the tennis tour came to a halt. He also posted some pictures and videos of cooking, playing tennis with his sister, and exercising while he stayed indoors.

Rafael Nadal house in Porto Cristo, Spain

Nadal fans might already know where he is confined during the public crisis. The Spaniard has self-isolated at his stunning, sea-facing house situated on the eastern coast of Mallorca in Porto Cristo.

According to reports, Nadal’s luxury home is over 1,000 square meters in size. The house has direct sea access and is near the popular Sa Cova de Correus. Moreover, the house is located just a few meters from the beach in Porto Cristo.

Reports suggest that Nadal bought the sea-facing villa for 4 million euros in 2013. The Spaniard’s house is a two-story home with a basement where Nadal usually exercises during the lockdown. The house is a short drive away from his hometown, Manacor, where he usually lives.

With more than $114 million in career earnings since he turned pro in 2001, Nadal is one of the highest-paid players of all time. Moreover, he earns a lot from his multiple endorsements, from Nike to Kia.

Rafael Nadal also spends his hard-earned money a little lavishly. The 33-year-old owns multiple properties in his name in Spain. From purchasing a six-figure watch to a luxury yacht, Beethoven, Nadal has certainly spent his money quite extravagantly. But then again, he certainly deserves to. Apart from the money he spends on luxuries, he is also philanthropist, often donating money to charities.
