Rafael Nadal V/S Cupcake: A Hilarious Comparison Gone Viral

Eighteen times Grand Slam champion, Rafael Nadal has always experimented with on-court outfits. From maroon color sleeves T-shirt in Miami 2004 to sky blue color polo T-shirt in Montreal 2019, Nadal has tried it all.

The 33-year-old likes to try different color outfits on him. In one of the old interview, Rafael Nadal revealed a secret about his on-court attires. He had said, “I just put on whatever I feel comfortable in. I’ve got a fashion secret: my mother tells me what to wear.”

Nike has been sponsoring Nadal’s on-court apparels since 2000. Nadal was bold and flashy in brilliant colors, sleeveless shirts, and Capri-cut pants. While his 2019 US Open outfit has been unveiled, where the Spaniard will wear sleeveless shirts. A black one for the night session, along with black shoes and shorts and a pink shirt and some white shorts.

Seeing this, Rafael Nadal fans have started one of the trending threads on the social media platform, Twitter, comparing Rafael Nadal’s outfits with cupcakes. In one of the threads started by a Twitter handler, Rashmi (@drivevolleys) Nadal’s different color apparels over the past 15-years has been compared vividly with the cupcakes.

Rafael Nadal wore the Orange colored polo T-shirt with white shorts in the 2018 Monte Carlo Masters.

The 33-year-old will be seen wearing a black colored sleeveless T-shirt with black shorts at the US Open 2019.

Here, Nadal’s dark blue shade jersey has been brilliantly compared by a similar colored cupcake. The Mallorcan put on this attire at the 2017 ATP World Tour Finals.

Rafael Nadal tried the black and blue combination polo T-shirt at the 2015 ATP Finals, which has been compared with sky blue cream and blueberry toppings on the cupcake.

Naval tried the Yellow-colored T-shirt with shorts of yellow stripes at the 2010 Miami Open. The blue headbands and wristbands are compared with a blue color flower on the cupcake.

Naval was seen in a purple-colored T-shirt at the Shanghai Masters 2011.

Naval put on the green color T-shirt with yellow-colored accessories at the Miami Open 2011 and has been compared to a cupcake of similar combination.

Rafael Nadal has always been seen in the red color T-shirt when playing for his country.

The five-time Rogers Cup champion, Rafael Nadal tried the yellow-colored outfit at Montreal 2017.

The 2018 Australian Open finalist was back in a sleeveless T-shirt with pink shorts. The outfit has been perfectly compared to pink and blue cupcakes here.

At the 2004 US Open, the 18-year-old Nadal established a curious on-court look, his flop of hair covered by a fusion headband-bandana with bold sleeveless T-shirts in electric colors, and power Rangers-Esque mega-wristbands.

Rafael Nadal is very rarely seen in a white T-shirt except at the Wimbledon Championships. However, he chose to wear a white-color T-shirt at the Australian Open 2017.
