Just few weeks after his departure from the Bernabue Argentina starlet Angel Di Maria has been involved in a public row with Real Madrid president Florentino Perez. With Perez claiming that Di Maria made a move for the money, at the same point Di Maria revealed that he had no intensions to leave the club this summer.

Well! This seems to be quite controversial but the major controversy comes in at the point where Di Maria recently claimed that Real Madrid had send him a letter on the day of world cup finals ordering him not to play in the finals.

On the other hand, Di Maria’s chance of playing in the world cup finals were already a doubt as he was suffering from a thigh injury and the player has also admitted that the decision of keeping him out was of the former manager of the country Alejandro Sabella.

Di Maria in his own words

“There was a letter that arrived from Madrid at 11am on the day of the game while I was in physio, trying to be the best I could be for the final, telling me to not play. I tore it up and ignored it, it made no difference”

“I talked with Alejandro and it was his decision. I didn’t want to pressure him. I knew I could have to come off after 15 minutes and leave the team, I didn’t want that”.
