How does it compare to 2015?

In 2015, the company’s turnover was £181,249,000. This meant that they made a £16,700,000 profit in 2016. RB’s payments rose from £10.1m in 2015 to £40.6m partly due to the poor performances over the years.  Courtesy the two GP wins for Max Verstappen and Daniel Ricciardo, costs went up in 2016. This was coupled with a rise to second in the championship so it generated increased success bonuses for staff. The team alone employs just 58 people. But the Red Bull Technology group employs nearly 758 personnel. This includes supplying services to Scuderia Toro Rosso and outside projects such as the Aston Martin Valkyrie.

The Red Bull Technology group had a turnover of £247.7m in 2016 which includes the RBR numbers outlined above. In the previous year, the turnover was £235.6m. As a result, its declared profit fell to £8.3m from £11.3m.
