Reina to Napoli – Just a matter of days!

Napoli have opened discussions about resigning Pepe Reina from Bayern Munich. The former Liverpool star joined Bayern last year after a successful spell on loan in Naples.
Reina has 300+ appearances for the Reds, and seems to be on the verge of a move after a frustrating season at Bayern. This comes right after his long run at Liverpool, where he won the FA Cup and made it to the Champions League finals against AC Milan.
Reina was an unused substitute as Bayern were comprehensively beaten 3-0 by a Lionel Messi inspired Barcelona in the first leg of their Champions League semi-final at the Nou Camp.
Napoli have offered Reina a 3 year deal and could lure him for less than 4M. Reina’s agent is in Italy and has reportedly agreed to the move.
Now it’s only a matter of time until he returns to Napoli. Reina will undergo a medical either on Tuesday or Wednesday and then he’ll sign his contract. At this point Reina’s return to Italy is almost certain.
