Last year, Nintendo released a Japanese manga for Animal Crossing New Horizons. The manga, called Deserted Island Diary, shed light on the life of villagers on the island. The studio wanted the player base to establish a deeper connection with the island’s inhabitants.

Viz Media announced it is going to release an English translation of the manga. Now, the media house has come up with an elaborate date for its release and has also started taking preorders.

English manga for Animal Crossing New Horizons will release in 2021

In a recent update, Viz Media has confirmed that the translated version will release on September 14th. The manga will be priced at $9.99 and you can even pre-order the comic book. The aforementioned image depicts the box art and the type of art pieces fans can expect from the comic book.

It will contain 128 pages of content, which will deep dive into the world of New Horizons. Kokonasu Rumba has written the story and has also drawn the artwork. Animal Crossing’s popularity has grown tenfolds since the release of New Horizons in 2020. This latest title helped Nintendo to sell over 31 million copies.

This mega-successful franchise has helped redefine the life simulation genre and brought it to the forefronts. The franchise offers interesting customization options and great ways to express creativity.
