The blossoming romance between the new tennis power couple, Dominic Thiem and Kristina Mladenovic seems to fade away as the pair have allegedly ended their relationship, according to the reports of Austrian media.

The absence of Kristina Mladenovic during the last stages of the ATP World Tour Finals 2019, to cheer her boyfriend Dominic Thiem, triggered the speculations of the pair breaking up with each other.

Earlier, Dominic Thiem was also not in attendance as he was preparing for the year-end ATP World Tour Finals 2019 in London. Mladenovic had lead France to win the first Fed Cup title in 16 years, defeating Australia 3-2  after a thrilling decisive doubles match, partnering Caroline Garcia in front of their opponent’s home crowd in Perth.

The relationship between Dominic Thiem and Kristina ‘Kiki’ Mladenovic became public when last year, Kristina appeared in Thiem’s box during the Roland Garros Finals. However, this time Kiki is not expected to cheer for him in his box in London since she is still celebrating the 2019 Fed Cup title.

Dominic Thiem’s father, Wolfgang had revealed in an interview during the 2019 Nitto ATP Finals that the pair do not spend much time with each other. He also explained that the Frenchwoman might not travel to London to support the number 5 seed as she might be celebrating her Fed Cup 2019 title with the French Team.

“They do not spend too much time together, however, even if there are combined tournaments that allow them to meet. She a lot to do with the French team of the Fed Cup in Paris. They celebrate the title. Very happy for her,” Wolfgang noted

Dominic Thiem squandered the one-set lead in the finals of the ATP World Tour Finals 2019 against Stefanos Tsitsipas on Sunday as the Greek gun fought back hard to defeat the Austrian in a thrilling three-setter 6-7, 6-2, 7-6 to claim the title in his maiden appearance at the season-ending tournament.
