HECZ is currently the CEO of NRG eSports, which owns the Call of Duty team Chicago Huntsmen. If this deal does happen, then HECZ needs to sell one of his team slots. There are no further details on the future of the current Optic Gaming roster. The real question, however, is who will be the new owner of the LA slot in Call of Duty League. It is no surprise that there are many organizations that are interested in entering the league. Fortunately, the biggest names include Dr Disrespect and Nadeshot. Could this be Doc’s entry in the CDL?
Even on his streams, Dr Disresect has been constantly hinting that he likes the idea of owning a team. In a recent stream, HECZ himself donated $100 to Doc and said that Doc is not too bad for a “could be CDL owner”.
Fans who thought it was a joke may not be laughing now with this report. Everything perfectly adds up to Doc entering the CoD league franchise as an owner. However, these are just reports and HECZ himself is yet to comment on it.
