The former World No.1, Andy Murray, is not a new name in tennis. But, following his biggest season in 2016, the British player has been out of the Top 100 due to injuries.

In a podcast conversation with France’s Gael Monfils, the 33-year-old answered a fan question, detailing next year’s expectations.
Andy is the only player with 2 Olympic Gold Medals in tennis singles; he also has 3 Grand Slams. In 2016, he won at Wimbledon, Rio Olympics, 3 Masters 1000 events, ATP Finals, and two ATP 500 events.
After that, his success nearly ceased, until this year. Despite popular perceptions, Murray looks positive after the 2020 break.

The only player to join the elite Big Three club (now Big Four), the Scottish-born is responsible for the revival of tennis in England. His famous win at the 2012 London Olympics against old-rival Roger Federer is one of the most iconic matches in tennis history.
In response to the criticism that his playing days are numbered, Murray said, “The next year the results are going to be much better, I can promise you that.”
With a lot relying on how the 2021 season rolls out, Murray and his fans can be a little cheerful now. As a response to his promise, his fan prayed with a smile, “I hope.”

It has been a long time since players played in the presence of fans. Therefore, social media interactions and one-to-one with fans have grown this year, which is a positive for both.
“Keep supporting and it’s gonna happen, next year is going to be different, I promise,” said the British player.
Unlike the 2020 season, the fans will again become a part of tennis in the 2021 season. Even though the capacity might not be full, it is a great boost for the fans and the players.
Currently, the Top 4 players of the season (excluding Federer) are in London, competing at the ATP Finals. Winner of the 2016 year-end championship, Murray will make a comeback with record 6-time winner Federer at the 2021 Australian Open.
