Manchester United are reportedly chasing the highly-rated Brazilian forward,  Roberto Firmino.

The 23-year old Brazilian who is currently representing his country at the Copa America still has to agree any terms and pass a medical but his agent has confirmed that he’ll be joining an English club this summer.

Roger Wittmann, Firmino’s agent has told German newspaper Bild, “All I can say that he’s moving to England.”

The striker who has scored seven goals for the Bundesliga side Hoffenheim in 34 appearances.

Liverpool too have shown interest in Firmino as the striker is considered to be a perfect replacement for Raheem Sterling by some of the Anfield faithful, if the 20-year old winger leaves to join another club.

Though the deal is not confirmed, Manchester United seem to be the favourites to bring Firmino to the The Theatre Of Dreams as they have been linked with him in the previous transfer window too.

Roberto Firmino will set a club record fee if he leaves Hoffenheim this summer. Their most expensive transfer to date was the sale of Carlos Eduardo to Rubin Kazan for £14.5m.

The Red Devils will have to pay £25-30m to bring him to Old Trafford. Firmino will be another pacey addition to Louis Van Gaal’s side as the club announced the signing of Holland winger, Memphis Depay a few days ago.
