Earlier this year the Swiss adept, Roger Federer revealed his preference to play in South America than in Asia, but however, in order to reduce the stress over his body, the World Number five tennis player is selective about playing his ATP tournaments. “I would like to play in South America or more often in Asia, to get to know other sand tournaments as well,” Roger Federer said. “But it is difficult to change all the planning. I could do it with show bouts, they are also casual and cool. But since my knee injury, I have played almost no more.”

According to the reports, Roger Federer might play an event in Brazil and delight his fans in that part of the world. Most likely, the event of tennis between the World and the continent of Europe, the Laver Cup 2020 might be held in Brazil. Upon hearing the intention of Federer’s arrival in Brazil, the three-time Roland Garros champion, Gustavo Kuerten and nicknamed Guga is excited to be onboard to give a special delight to the Brazilian tennis fans.

Guga revolutionised the sport of tennis Brazil, but the younger generation couldn’t see him play on tour since he retired in the year 2008. In the year 2012, Guga was inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame. The national icon of Brazilian tennis would love to see Roger Federer play in his country and spend some time with the GOAT tennis player.
