Roger Federer Goes Wild on Twitter From a Country That Has Banned Twitter

World No.3 Roger Federer has been tweeting a lot more lately and he’s moving the tennis world with it. From asking for Bollywood movie recommendations to poking fun at his Laver Cup teammate Alexander Zverev, Roger Federer has been tweeting it all from Shanghai, China – a nation where twitter is blocked.

Roger Federer asked his fans for movie suggestions before heading to the Shanghai Rolex Masters 2019. He wrote, “Any movie suggestions? #AvengersAssemble #Aquaman”

Federer fans flooded the comment section on his tweet with many movie suggestions. While some genuinely suggested movies that Federer could binge on, some shared clips of his games calling it their favorite “movie.”

The Swiss Maestro also asked for some Bollywood Classic and Indian fans poured in a lot of suggestions for the 20-time Grand Slam champion.

While a fan took a dig on Alexander Zverev as she revealed that Roger Federer was about to give his autograph to her during the Laver Cup 2019 but Zverev came in between. “Hey Roger, you were about to sign my hat at Laver Cup when Sascha came and sprayed you with champagne and you ran away,” the women wrote on Twitter.

She added, “Can you tell him I’m still annoyed at him for that? Thanks, x.”

Roger Federer, who has been extremely active on twitter since arriving in Shanghai, replied to the unfortunate fan.

He tweeted: “I’ll get Alexander Zverev back don’t worry, and I’ll sign that hat next time.” The fans were shocked by Federer’s reply and asked him if it was really him or his social media handler.

The Shanghai Rolex Masters 2019 tweeted about Federer heading to the practice and wrote, “Practice for the 2019 tournament is in full swing at Qizhong Stadium. By the look on Roger Federer’s face, he means business.

The 38-year-old also made fun of himself as he replied to his photo, “Why so serious.”

The 20-time Grand Slam champion had some more fun with his fans on the social media.
