Roger Federer Is a Lot Funnier

Tennis Channel has been hosting a show called ‘Coaching In the Bigs’ with Paul Annacone. As every tennis fan knows, Annacone coached Roger Federer from 2010-13. Paul decided to call Severin Luthi, who is Roger’s current coach, on the show.

Luthi has been working with Roger since 2007. That is a long time, which is why he probably knows him best. Hence, Annacone decided to ask him what is the one thing people don’t know about Roger. He replied by saying,

“It’s tough, I mean there are a lot of things you could say. He is a lot funnier than people think so that’s probably one thing. People always think of him as a great tennis player but he is also very funny.”

This statement is not entirely a joke as he is obviously very talented which is why he has won so many Grand Slams throughout his career. He still wants to win more which is why he is still playing even though he is almost 38.

He is waiting for the next opportunity to win some more, but sadly, it won’t come for a while due to the coronavirus pandemic. Hopefully, once we contain the virus, he can add to his large collection of Grand Slams.
