Earlier today, Roger Federer posted on his Instagram story, a picture of himself with a shopping bag containing a few lemons. Later on, he went on to explain the story behind the image of him shopping.

Following his Indian Wells match against Kyle Edmund, he spoke about the image. He revealed that the children were selling lemonade. As it turns out, they did the same last year as well. The Swiss ace even revealed that they sold some of his old tennis balls to raise funds for the charity.

Speaking to journalists there, he said, “The Kids are also selling lemonade this year, they have already beaten their revenues from last year, they even sold my Tennis Balls for the Foundation and already paid in the cash, I’m very proud of them”

In the meantime, Roger Federer will be looking forward to his next match at the Indian Wells Masters. It will be a quarterfinal clash with Poland’s Hubert Hurkacz. The 22-year old Pole managed to stun a few giants along the way. He downed Lucas Pouille, Kei Nishikori and Denis Shapovalov en route to meeting Federer.

Roger Federer on the other hand, faced off against Peter Gojowczyk and Stan Wawrinka aside from Edmund. With regard to the other big players, Novak Djokovic was stunned by Philipp Kohlschreiber, the latter later losing to Gael Monfils.

Rafael Nadal has cruised through though, beating Filip Krajinovic in straight sets, booking his own place in the quarterfinals. The Spaniard will next face 12th seed, Karen Khachanov for a chance in the semifinals.
