The Swiss legend, Roger Federer was in conversation with the Australian golfer, Adam Scott. Both the former World Number one professionals of their respective field of work and the Uniqlo ambassadors shared their thoughts on topics common between them. It’s unusual for a tennis player to have a family on tour and Federer has been touring with his kids for the past ten years.

“Traveling with the children is incredibly exciting, because, I never thought I will be a tennis player and having children,” Roger Federer said. “In my dream as a boy, I see myself in a vision holding up the Wimbledon trophy or being World Number one but I don’t see it with wife and four kids.”

His girls have been watching him since he lifted up the Australian Open 2010 title in Melbourne. His girls were born in the same year when Federer pulled off his Career Slam at Roland Garros 2009. His first Slam win in the presence of his twin boys was at Wimbledon 2017, and he did not drop a single set in the entire tournament.

“So it’s quite interesting how all of a sudden now, we live this life on the road and it’s about toys and about getting organized and anticipate, you know, schooling for the girls and the boys go to the park or they go to the zoo instead of going to play. It’s based on me and my wife’s needs. It’s all about the kids, because if the kids are happy we are happy. It’s that simple. It is so much fun on the road,” Federer continued.

World Number three, Roger Federer mentioned their difficulties when they used to travel in the beginning with the twin girls as they were parents for the first time. Adjusting their sleep patterns was a challenge while they toured around the world. “My kids have a major impact for the last ten years,” the Swiss maestro added.

Presently, Roger Federer is preparing for the Nother American swing. He will be seen in action during the Cincinnati Open 2019, in Ohio before he features at the US Open 2019 in New York.
