Roger Federer says-“Dream a Little Bit”

Federer

Roger Federer, in one of his recent interviews, spoke out to the youngsters looking up to him. Federer said that there will be tough times- times when you will want to give up, times when you doubt yourself and all the other people around you. the trick is to plod on through these times. “Well, you got to hang in there. You going to go through ups and downs in your career”, said Federer. “I went through many of them. People don’t think I did, but I did. Yeah, you got to hang in there. Learn quickly, listen to what your coach has to say, and believe that you can do it all the way really. I think that’s an important lesson in life.”

Another important thing that Federer added, was that a person should have the willingness to travel and explore the world in search of new possibilities. “That worked for me. First, you have to have a passion for the game, otherwise, there’s no point travelling the world and going through jet lag from one to the next”,Federer said. “I love travelling, but sometimes it’s also a bit much, so you’ve got to have the passion for the game.”

Federer also said that it is important to have a good team around you at all times. Positive vibes and motivation on a daily basis does wonders to your confidence. “I think you go through different stages where you have different coaches early on”, said the Australian Open champion. “They always feed you with a lot of information, they motivate you, they tell you how it used to be in the past maybe, they motivate you of what you can all achieve.”

“So you start to dream a little bit”, Federer continued. “And you chase those dreams as far as you can, and then eventually you start to realize yourself you also have capabilities, possibilities, a lot of talent. You want to get the best out of you, so eventually when you retire, you feel like I’m very happy with my career.”

Federer said that the people he always surrounds himself with are the reason he has come so far. “I want to feel good when I go to bed at night, so I think it’s got a lot to do”, said Roger. “And parents, of course, they always motivate me. I’ve had great parents, and then, of course, my wife, as well.”
