Tennis ace Roger Federer was out of action for over a year due to a knee injury he suffered in the previous season. Currently, the Swiss superstar is in Geneva, getting ready to compete in his first clay-court event of the season. Federer was practicing with former Grand Slam champion Marin Cilic, who is competing at the tournament too. Roger, surrounded by members of his team Severin Luthi and Ivan Ljubicic, is moving in the right direction with his preparations.
Reflecting on Federer’s past season, he has barely played any tennis over the past 15 months. After his semifinal defeat at the Australian Open 2020, he injured his knee and had to undergo two knee surgeries. The recovery process kept him away from the men’s circuit.
