Roger Federer Trolls a Fan Over Retirement Statement

As the Twitter activities of Roger Federer are taking place at a steady pace, one of his fans shared his sensations about the Swiss’ retirement from tennis.  “You are very active on social media nowadays. I smell retirement,” the fan tweeted.

The Swiss maestro trolled his fan and replied he doesn’t see any connections regarding his social media activities and retirement plans. “How that is connected I don’t know but ok. How does it smell?” the Swiss legend retweeted.

He also trolled the ATP Tour and recommended not to watch his match ‘if you are a forehand fan’ as he delivered a beautiful single-hand backhand winner similar to the “lightning from the fingertips of Zues.”

On Tuesday at Shanghai Rolex Masters 2019, Roger Federer did not play his vintage shot SABR (Sneak Attack By Roger) and mentioned about forgetting to use it.

The Swiss adept held a 6-2, 7-6(5) victory against Albert Ramos-Vinolas. He avenged his 2015 Shanghai slump at the hands of the Spaniard.

Recently, Roger Federer updated his profile picture and he also considered the picture underneath.

Earlier this week, Federer asked Novak Djokovic for pizza advice as a pizza was named after ‘Nole’.

Roger Federer seems to be having a pleasant time in the Chinese metropolis. “I enjoy it a lot,” Federer spoke about his stay in Shanghai, China. “It’s so very different from where I come from. I have lived in many different places in Switzerland and then traveled extensively. But this is pretty special, the way this city and this country is set up and everything.

“The size, when it comes to anything, is just off the charts. The fans get together, really make a conscious effort and want to show me how excited and happy they are… It means a lot to me. Don’t get that kind of fan grouping like this together anywhere else in the world.”

Federer played a quality match in Shanghai on Tuesday, he finished with 32 winners, 31 unforced errors.
