Zverev defeated Roland Garros champion, Rafael Nadal, in the semifinals and crushed his hopes of winning a title at Paris Bercy. Having won two back-to-back titles at Cologne prior to the Master’s 1000 tournament, the German has extended his winning streak to 12 matches.
