What to expect of the event?

For starters, it would be nice to know when the new console will be up for pre-order. Recently, Eric Lempel did state that they’d let the fans know when the date will be, however, a bit more clear cut detail would be huge.

“So, I think it’s safe to say to all of the viewers, we’ll let you know when pre-orders will happen. It’s not gonna happen with a minute’s notice. We’re going to at some point let you know when you can preorder a PlayStation 5.”, Eric Lempel said.

The event could also shed some lights on the pricing of the console. Every fan is aware that there’d be two variants; one digital and one with a physical drive. But, the pricing for both variants has only been rumored. Many expect it to be around $500, but one can never tell.

With Microsoft giving a tough time with the Xbox Series X, Sony should come in strong with the price. We could know more about this if the event does happen in the rumored date.
