Ryan Garcia Reveals His Most Important Learning From Canelo Alvarez

Boxing sensations- Canelo Alvarez and Ryan Garcia are on successful rides of their respective professional journeys. Both of them have won their recent fights and have world championships on their shoulders. However, Garcia is still young and has a lot more to gain, to attain a status similar to Canelo Alvarez.

Meanwhile, the 22-year-old continues to hone himself under Alvarez’s guidance. Hailing from Eddy Reynoso’s team, Alvarez and Garcia are teammates and often assist each other in the fight camps. That said, Ryan Garcia revealed the most important lesson he has learned from the P4P king.

Prior to Alvarez’s fight against Avni Yildirim, ‘KingRy’ connected with the fans and opened up on the same. He said, “Discipline, no matter how much money you got. He works like he only got a penny in his bank. So that’s something I learned and something that I gotta see visually.”

‘KingRy’ also clarified his presence by stating that he would always back up Canelo Alvarez, considering the relationship and the bond they shared at the gym. Likewise, Alvarez also shows similar respect towards the young boxer and makes his way to the arena whenever Garcia fights.

Fresh from the win over Callum Smith, Alvarez made his way to the arena and saw Ryan Garcia become the WBC Interim lightweight champion as he took out Luke Campbell on January 2. He also gave an important message to ‘KingRy’ after the fight and expressed his love.

So, Garcia returned the favor by attending Alvarez’s recent fight and it seems that Eddy Reynoso might have set foot in the best phase of his training career. All of his star prodigies like Alvarez, Garcia, and Valdez have claimed sensational wins back-to-back.

Meanwhile, former heavyweight champion Andy Ruiz Jr. is also eyeing a return. So it’s safe to state that Reynoso can experience greater success ahead.
