Golf Fans Pounce on Ryder Cup Captain Steve Stricker for Making Costly Factual Error

The Team USA Ryder Cup skipper Steve Stricker recently attended a college football game. Moreover, he also took the Ryder Cup trophy with him to the game. Team USA had an emphatic victory at the Ryder Cup as they embarrassed the opposition team with a score of 19-9. 

Moreover, the home team managed to dominate the Europeans from day 1, and not once gave them a chance to make a comeback. And Steve Stricker, the Team USA skipper, played a vital role in this victory. He got this young team together and managed the pairings to perfection.

Stricker also deserves credit for giving this young team a vision. Moreover, the Bryson and Brooks feud had reached its epitome, and it was Steve Stricker who got these two players together. He successfully managed to keep both these players under one roof for a week and even got them chatting.

Meanwhile, Steve Stricker attended a college football game yesterday with his Ryder Cup trophy. Furthermore, he made a tweet about the same, which said ‘Samuel Ryder, enjoying the Badger Football team’

However, he didn’t realize that the man on the trophy was not Samuel Ryder but an English golfer, Abe Mitchell. Samuel Ryder was an English businessman who was a golf enthusiast and a pioneer of the Ryder Cup. But he is not the man who is present on the trophy.
