Tiger Woods is probably the greatest golf player of all time. And he has been part of the U.S. Ryder Cup team on eight occasions. However, sadly Tiger has won the Ryder Cup only once in his career. Moreover, even this win came way back in 1999. The U.S. team miraculously came back from behind on the final day to win the event at the Country Club in Brookline.

Meanwhile, Tiger’s Ryder Cup performance hasn’t been impressive as his performance on the PGA Tour. He always seemed to struggle in this event, and the reason for it is not evident. Moreover, this has been the biggest mystery of his career as a player like Tiger Woods has only one Ryder Cup victory.

He first played in the Ryder Cup in 1997, and since then, he has only missed the event in 2008, 2014, and 2016. All these missed chances have been because of injuries, and the same trend continues for the upcoming 2021 Ryder Cup as well. Tiger is currently recovering from a solo car crash, which happened in February 2021.
