When it comes to Ryder Cup, Zach has competed in this event five times. Additionally, he was also the deputy captain to Steve Stricker last year, where team USA annihilated the European side. However, his experience as a player isn’t great, as he has a 7-6-2 overall record at the Ryder Cup.

Meanwhile, Stenson, as a player, has a slightly better overall record with 10-7-2. Even he has made five appearances and was a deputy to Padraig Harrington last year. So even he has closely observed the leadership role and is the perfect candidate for the European side to regain the trophy.

Both the skippers are neck to neck with their Ryder Cup record. Hence, it will all come down to their leadership skills and the quality of players they have on their sides.
