Collin Morikawa sheds light on the Bryson DeChambeau and Brooks Koepka’s dynamics

In the recent interview with Golf Digest, Collin Morikawa explained the dynamics between Bryson and Brooks. “We had the t-shirts that JT made us, and you could poke fun at it after. It was something that wasn’t really brought up, at least when I was around,” said Morikawa.

“It wasn’t like they were sitting in front of each other during breakfast and chatting. But they were cordial. They put it aside. Whatever is there or not there, for that week, it was gone. It was never brought up once.”

Hence, this shows the commitment of both these players towards winning the cup. They put everything aside and never brought anything up during the Ryder Cup. Moreover, they even hugged each other at JT’s request during the press conference after winning the cup.

However, Morikawa said that if they weren’t comfortable with each other, they could have stayed away from each other.

“If they didn’t wanna see each other, they could stay away. There’s 12 guys on the team. There are other people they could go talk to. It was as easy a team room as you could hope for. All of us got along, and it made the week so much easier.”

Meanwhile, a lot of credit should also go to captain Steve Stricker for managing these players, especially Bryson DeChambeau and Brooks Koepka. However, we still don’t know if Bryson and Brooks have put an end to this feud. But whatever it is, they did show a great team spirit by not bringing up anything during the Ryder Cup week.
