Venue: Golden 1 Center, Sacramento.

Preview-

Denver Nuggets are second in the Western Conference- behind the leaders Los Angeles Lakers- with a win-loss record of 13-3. They have so far won four of their five games down the road, which might improve at the end of regular season compared to last season’s 20-21.

The Nuggets have managed a good season so far on the back of a strong defence. They own the top-ranked defensive rating in the league, although their offensive rating ranks 19th.

The Kings, on the other hand, did not start the season on such a high note, but have racked up some good wins recently. After a 0-5 start to the season, the Kings have now improved their record to a 7-10, and are placed ninth in the Western Conference.

They have lost their last two games, and would want to get back to winning, but won’t be straight forward against a strong looking Denver side.

Predicted starting line up: Jamal Murray, Gary Harris, Will Barton, Paul Millsap, Nikola Jokic

Predictions-

In absence of De’Aaron Fox, Buddy Hield has been doing a good job for the Kings. He returned 22 points in the previous game against the 76ers and can do well against the Nuggets.

For the Nuggets, the team as a whole has been performing well. In their last win over the Wizards, Denver was led in scoring by Nikola Jokic.  Jokic recorded a double-double, scoring 20 points and pulling down 20 rebounds.  Jerami Grant also added 20 points in the game.

The Kings, who depend a lot on three pointers for scoring, will be up against one of the best defensive team in the league and a positive result for the Kings looks highly unlikely.
