Preview-

A chance to extend their winning run to eight consecutive games awaits the Los Angeles Clippers as they travel to San Antonio to take on the Spurs on Friday evening.

After an up and down start to the season, nine wins in their last 11 games has placed them third in the Western Conference and second in the Pacific division behind their local rivals Los Angeles Lakers.

On the other hand, the Spurs have lost nine of their last ten games and are on an unwanted run of five consecutive home defeats.

After an encouraging 4-1 start to the season, the Spurs’ chances of making the play-offs have become bleak, as they are placed 11th in the Western Conference with a win-loss record of 6-11.
