Ferrari’s driver Sebastian Vettel has revealed that he doesn’t expect any “bullsh*t” from his new teammate Charles Leclerc. The German Veteran will have to acclimatize to a new teammate after spending four years partnering with Kimi Raikkonen.

Vettel and Raikkonen have always got on well, with the Finn being known for his jolly attitude. Vettel, however realizes that Leclerc will be a completely new customer whe compared to the unique specimen that is Kimi Raikkonen. Nevertheless he still expects things to go well between himself and the Monegasque.“Obviously Charles is different to Kimi, so we will see how it goes, but I think he’s a good kid,” said Sebastian Vettel in an exclusive interview for Crash.net.“One thing for sure that I enjoyed a lot in the last years is the mutual respect that we have for each other”, Vettel continued. “I think we never had to deal with any bulls**t between ourselves, so that made it easier for me, easier for him I guess and easier for the team”, said the German. “But I’m not expecting anything in that direction from Charles. I think he’s a good kid. Obviously the team knows him very well for a while now, since he’s grown in the Ferrari Drivers Academy”, he added. “(I’m) happy for him, and then we’ll see how it works out.”
Vettel was also asked if he would be under more pressure from Leclerc than Kimi Raikkonen in the garage, to build up a competitive environment. Vettel replied that almost everyone in the roster is trying to beat the other teammate, so that will not be a major issue.“I think it doesn’t matter who you are racing in the team, you always try to win, and that means you also beat whoever is driving with you in the same team. So I don’t think that changes”, said Vettel.
