The temperatures at Wimbledon are scorching, but the top players have no problem in dealing with these conditions after Roger Federer and Rafa Nadal claimed that the conditions were ‘perfect’ and ‘great’.

The Swiss maestro said, “No, no. It was not hot. It was totally fine. It was perfect conditions, to be honest. It was nice. Just perfect playing conditions, to be honest. It was wonderful.”

While the Spaniard Rafa couldn’t agree more with Roger, “For me, the conditions were great. It’s difficult to think about a better day to play tennis here in Wimbledon. It is much better to play with these conditions than when the weather is cloudy and there is more humidity out there.”.

The mighty Williams too seemed to follow Roger and Rafa and was hardly fussed by the sun,“I just was training in Florida,” she said on Monday. “It was, like, 42 degrees. This will be OK.”

An elderly woman watching Eugenie Bouchard couldn’t tolerate the sun and was rushed by St John Ambulance. We can surely see similar cases in the coming days. They might as well add ice-towels to the traditional strawberries!
