Carlos Alcaraz has a different physique than Medvedev, Zverev, Tsitsipas, and others

As compared to World No. 2, 3, and 4, Carlos is a much more muscular athlete who is able to generate an enormous amount of power in his shots. On the other hand, Medvedev, Tsitsipas, and Zverev are leaner and taller. In fact, they are much taller than the likes of Federer, Nadal, or even Djokovic, for that matter.

Speaking on this topic, Patrick stated, “The prototype of the modern tennis champion’s body is very tall and very thin: Medvedev, Zverev, Tsitsipas, Sinner, Auger Alliassime, Hurkacz… In this world, Carlos Alcaraz besides being a hell of a player is much more muscular! Impressive!”

Given the absence of Djokovic in the men’s section, it has paved the way for many of the youngsters to have a great shot at Grand Slam glory. However, it is still early days and it will be interesting to see how things unfold with each round passing by.
