” I’ll certainly miss the crowd and hearing them cheer, but this is crazy, I’m excited” – Serena Williams.
Serena is onboard with the US Open and trusts the organizers for a safe tournament.
“I cannot wait to return to New York and play the US Open. I feel like USTA is going to do an amazing job making sure everything is safe. I’ll certainly miss the crowd and hearing them cheer, but this is crazy, I’m excited” said Serena Williams.
Many players were not ready to play in the US because of the strict rules. World number one Novak Djokovic called the rules harsh while Rafael Nadal didn’t want to take any risk to travel to New York. The US Open also announced earlier that all the matches will take place behind closed doors.
Patrick Mouratoglou, Serena coach recently said that she would love to play the US Open.
“Serena would love to play at the US Open,” said Patrick
