The US government recently made a strong move regarding TikTok. And all the while, people are debating whether the audacious action is wise or not. Alexis Ohanian, Serena Williams’ husband, has made his position apparent over the same debacle.

The Reddit co-founder is not a huge TikTok fan and feels differently about the app. Where the 39-year-old American entrepreneur is quite open to new changes, the way TikTok has been groomed over the past few years is something that concerns him the most.

Does Alexis Ohanian agree with the US government’s decision over TikTok? 

The American tennis legend’s husband recently took to his Twitter account to show his support for Biden banning TikTok in the US. The Reddit co-founder retweeted a post talking about the same concern. And shared his agreement with the government in trying to save its people’s privacy from leaking out with a stern warning. Along with that, he wrote, “It’s happening, folks.

The American entrepreneur has been following TikTok for years from a business perspective. With the passing of time, he has always made his point clear about the video-making social media app.

However, a few months back, the founder had a totally different perspective regarding the social media video-making app.

Ohanian on dying TikTok fever 

Ohanian shared this perspective on the video-making app’s limited lifespan in an interview with Inc. a few days ago. He focused on the fact that TikTok’s enthusiasm might go down among Gen Z kids, who once enjoyed using the app. He also talked about how the social media app once literally ruled over teenage kids’ hearts.

Further, he explained how more video-making apps are coming over now that the population of TikTok is growing, which might be one of the biggest reasons for the dying TikTok enthusiasm. Before this, the Reddit co-founder also expressed his opinion on the growing TikTok population but also focused on the fact that this fast growth can lead to problems, which are certainly wide awake today.
