Tennis star Serena Williams has been one of the great assets to this game. Over the years, she has achieved tremendous accolades and has been a role model for youngsters interested in pursuing the sport. As of today, she is a global star who still continues to be on top of her game.
Not long ago, Serena Williams revealed three secrets that have helped her balance life between motherhood and her professional career. She stated that one should not try and avoid problems but face them head-on and overcome the obstacles.
The 23-time Grand Slam winner stated, “You’re going to go through a lot of things in life and there’s no way to get through it other than to go through it. You can’t go around it, can’t go over it, can’t go under it —just go through it, because it’s never going to be easy, but it really builds a different character…after you go through different hardships and hard times.”

“If you avoid things and avoid problems, that doesn’t really work, so I really love that advice.”

Serena Williams has underperformed in recent months

Coming onto the tennis played this season, Williams began competing in Australia but ended her hopes of winning another Major after losing in the semifinal to Naomi Osaka. After that, she wasn’t seen on Tour for a while and made a return at the clay event in Rome.
Soon after came the French Open and she failed to impress, losing in the fourth round. Thereafter came the Wimbledon Championships and she had to withdraw midway through the opening round match as she sprained her ankle. We wish to see her compete at the highest level and hope she can make a return during the hard court US Open Series.
