Serena Williams Sells Decade Old Property for a Hefty Sum

American tennis star Serena Williams has reportedly sold her Bel Air property for a hefty sum of $8.1 million. The property has been in her possession for nearly a decade, though she resides in another property in the Westside neighbourhood.

Back in 2017, the property was listed around $11.99 million, though the price has depreciated since. It was last listed at $9.99 million and finally sold for $8.1 million by the former World Number 1.

The Bel Air property spans nearly three acres and was built in 1935. The house consists of six bedrooms and 6,100 square feet of living space.

Other characteristics include high ceilings, marble and hardwood floors and a full-service hair salon. Other features are curving walls of clerestories and French doors along the living room. There is also an executive office/study and a wet bar complete with a dark wood finish.

Other amenities that the property boasts off are, A lavish bathroom, a sitting area and dressing room. All of these comprise the multiroom master suite.

Outside the property, there is a private walking trail that meanders through various areas of the property. Serena Williams also enjoyed the luxury of a private swimming pool, a pool house, gardens and a covered patio space.

Recently, social media images spotted Serena Williams with Danish tennis player Caroline Wozniacki. Caroline Wozniacki posted a few images of herself on Instagram with Serena Williams. The American was hanging out with Caroline Wozniacki in the Bahamas, celebrating after the latter got engaged. It was a bachelorette party after Wozniacki got engaged to former NBA player David Lee.

The Dane is relaxing after the Charleston Open final last week where she lost to Madison Keys. Serena Williams last played in the Miami Open 2019 but was force to pull out in the Round of 32. She was due to face Wang Qiang but dropped out ahead of the clash.
