While Venus Williams was dominating the sport in her early twenties, no one expected that her younger sister would also become so dominant.

However, that’s exactly what happened. Not only did Serena match her sister, but she also exceeded the achievements of Venus Williams. That also led to a pretty competitive rivalry between the two which became synonymous with an entire era of women’s tennis.
