Sergio Romero Involved in a Car Crash Near Manchester United Training Ground

Manchester United goalkeeper Sergio Romero was involved in an accident on Monday. The incident took place close to the Red Devil’s training centre at Carrington. 

Pictures surfaced of the Argentine international’s Lamborghini was found smashed against the barrier at the end of the road.

Though Manchester United confirmed that the 32-year-old was unhurt and hasn’t sustained any injury at all. This would come as a piece of positive news for the fans as he has been one of the better performers for them this season.

Premier League has had to fave some really unfortunate incidents in the recent past. Loosing some of it’s a beloved personality in former Cardiff City player Emiliano Sala and former Leicester City owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha.

 

Manchester United have had a mixed season in terms of results as they’re at 5th in the Premier League table. They’re just three points off the coveted Champions League spots.

Liverpool are increasingly looking like the runaway Champions of English first division. Manchester City and Leicester City have already solidified their stake in the top four. Leaving Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspurs fighting for the fourth spot.

In spite of some positive results, Ole Gunnar Solskjær has failed to impress the Old Trafford faithfuls As he has failed to rack up results on a consistent basis.

Sergio Romero himself has been one of the more popular figures at the Old Trafford. After arriving in 2015 at Manchester, he has impressed his suitors on many occasions.

Now, with David De Gea failing to put up to his astronomical high levels, whispers of promoting Romero to the No.1 spot have gathered momentum.
