The Golden Stae Warriors have not had the greatest of months in January. Even though their talisman Klay Thompson returned after two years, they have not been playing great. Steph Curry has been having a cold spell, Wiggins seems to have lost his early-season touch and Green has been out due to an injury.

It is no secret that the Golden State Warriors are one of Shaq’s favorite teams and Curry is his favorite player. After, the performance against the Pacers, Shaq was not pleased with what he saw. Especially with Andrew Wiggins, who had another tough outing in January.

Shaq said,” The man got 15 shots, he just got to play better. Wiggins got 15 shots, that’s good for him“. Chuck replied saying that Wiggins hasn’t played well since Klay Thompson came back.

Shaq retorted, “Well, he got to look in the mirror, cause he’s still getting shots“.

The Story for the Warriors since Klay Thompson returned
When Klay Thompson made his comeback, many analysts peg Warriors as the favorites for the title. They had the best record in the league and adding one of the best two players would have only made them better. However, things haven’t gone exactly according to plan.

Draymond Green has been out since Klay came back and his presence has been sorely missed. He was their leader on the defensive end and was the chief playmaker on offense. Curry has been one of the worst stretches of his career. He had been playing like the MVP until that point. Curry has missed wide-open shots and easy layups in the last few weeks. His touch seems to have disappeared. Andrew Wiggins had a great start to the year, but he has struggled off late. Without Green, he hasn’t had those same looks he had at the start of the year. Also, with Klay returning, he has taken kind of a backseat, so that he may find his footing.

However, with Green expected to return soon, the Warriors will look to get back to their best. They had been playing some of their best basketball before Green got hurt. Curry will look to shake off his rough stretch after that game-winner against the Houston Rockets. Klay will look to add more minutes and hope to get his rhythm back. All in all, the Warriors will hope to get better as we are reaching the All-Star Break soon.
