The Big Podcast, Shaquille O’Neal and the crew discussed everything from Jokic’s run through the West, the NBA’s coaching carousel, and how Shaq got his hands on a t-shirt from Maury Povich. Recalling the incident, Shaq and Turner appeared to act out a skit inspired by the talk show while also poking a bit of fun at the TV celebrity.

Talking about his t-shirt, Shaquille O’Neal revealed that Maury Povich was a fan of the podcast, and once made a visit to his house, even giving him the shirt that he was wearing. The grey shirt had

“You ARE The Father,” written on it in white.

Apart from the TNT floor, Shaq’s podcast is another one of his playing grounds. During the recent episode, the 4x NBA champion and Turner acted out a hilarious roleplay situation that was painfully reminiscent of the iconic “You are not the father” scenes on the Maury Povich Show. Nischelle played the role of Povich during the reenactment.

She jokingly said,

“In the matter of so-and-so, sister girl, and Shaquille O’Neal, Shaquille, you are not the father.” Shaq playfully welcomed the outcome and broke out into a celebratory dance, filling the studio with laughter.

Spice Adams, another co-host of the show, continued the story by joking about a potential child named Shaquille O’Neal Jr. He then played the part of Povich and said,

“In the case of Shaquille O’Neal Jr., you are not the father.“

Shaq has fathered 6 children through his multiple relationships. He had his kids Me’arah, Amirah, Shaqir, and  Shareef

It is to be noted that even though there are questions about the big man

having fathered 17 kids, he remains dutiful to the 6 kids he actually has.
