One thing that has been constant in Serena Williams’ career is her motivation. Even though she is having a dry patch, she is never out of motivation. And with her interviews and talks, it looks like the birth of her daughter Alexis Olympia has fueled her motivation even more. Now her daughter is three years old and is already following the footsteps of her mother.

After announcing her second collaboration with the luggage and accessories brand, Away, Serena spoke about her tennis and gave a short update on Olympia’s tennis skills.

Serena explained how she stays fired up and is ready to compete. She also spoke about training with her daughter.

“I have a natural drive that keeps me going day in and day out. Whenever the competitions return, I’ll be ready. Plus, I’ve found fun ways to train with my daughter, and she’s already got a pretty good serve!”

Furthermore, now Serena finds herself quarantined with her daughter in Adelaide, Australia. The Australian Open 2021 will begin in a few weeks, but before that, players are serving their mandatory quarantine. Serena is in good company with Olympia and both have entertained fans on social media.

“As a competitor, I am thrilled to be back on the court, but I’m naturally very cautious about my health. Strict protocols and safety measures are in place at tournaments [to ensure they are] as safe as possible, and personally, I’m taking every precaution I can to stay healthy,”  Serena said.

Olympia has become an online sensation herself. She is sometimes twinning with her mother or on some days she is seen training with Serena. Recently, Alexis Ohanian, husband of Serena Williams and father of Olympia, shared a video in which Olympia was having fun playing with the AR filters of the social media platform, Snapchat.

Olympia will be cheering for her mother in Australia. Serena will be hoping she can finally win her long-awaited 24th Grand Slam in front of her daughter.
