Henry Cejudo and Amanda Nunes have been going at each other over Twitter, exchanging blows, and making snarky comments at one and other. Cejudo stated that he would face and easily have Nunes bend her knee. He also said that she is a sheep, contrary to all calling her the GOAT (Greatest Of All Time). He even suggested that Nunes should go shopping with her friends and not pursue him as her next opponent.

Cejudo has been interested in fighting for an “inter-gender” title for a while now. He has targeted the top female fighters from the UFC, which includes the likes of Valentina Shevchenko and Weili Zhang. And now, he has shifted his focus to Amanda Nunes.

Amanda Nunes currently holds two titles. Cejudo also held two titles before he announced his surprise retirement at UFC 249. So if he were to make a return to the sport, do you think Nunes would be a likely opponent? Of course, that being a long-drawn joke by Cejudo, he would need a big fight and something out of the ordinary to be pulled back in!

Henry Cejudo wants Nunes next

Recently, Cejudo tweeted a side-by-side picture of him and Sean O’Malley with the caption, “Can anybody tell me the difference between us both?”

Keeping aside the primary intention of the post, the comment section blew up asking him if this was him ducking his fight with Amanda Nunes! To which he replied, “She’s next.” So it is clear that he hasn’t shifted his focus from Amanda Nunes. Now, that’s an exciting way to keep yourself relevant even after retiring.
