The gaming industry is buzzing with the impending release of the new Multiplayer title Valorant. Last weekend the developers of the game, Riot Games, invited certain gamers and streamers to give it a go. The feedback we got from this lucky band of players was pretty much all positive. In fact, many of them have been raving about the new title ever since.
If you are a Counter Strike Global Offensive or an Overwatch fanatic, you’re going to be pleasantly surprised to see a few similarities. But do not count on your experience in those games to help you much here. At least not at the very beginning.

As you can see from the video, Valorant promises to be something of a hybrid version of Counter Strike and Overwatch.
With ten characters, or Agents, to choose from, you have a similar objective as in CS: GO- to plant a spike(read bomb) on one of the assigned sites. It’s a strategy shooter, and your experience in CS: GO will help you out at times.
Similar to Overwatch because the Agents all possess unique abilities that you need to use to their full potential to gain any advantage for your team. But where Overwatch is far more chaotic, Valorant requires more of a tactical plan and execution on your teammates’ part.
