Simone to Make a Comeback in the Competition

Biles has been out of competitive action for a long time now. The world last saw her competing at the delayed Tokyo Olympics held in 2021. The graceful powerhouse who had bagged four gold medals at the 2016 Rio Olympics had forfeited from five out of her six finals events at the Tokyo Olympics. She stated that she had to withdraw from the contest due to mental health and safety issues. However, her long hiatus will come to a stop as she will be competing at the upcoming 2023 US Classic in August. This event is largely considered a warm-up event in the gymnastics community.
