American gymnast Simone Biles does not seem to slow down any soon. With her mesmerizing moves, the most famous gymnast of the world has won 25 World Championships.

In Tokyo 2020, Simone Biles showed courage and bravery by prioritizing her mental health and withdrawing from individual events. Her step not only inspired others but also helped throw light on mental health issues.

Recently, Biles posted a picture with her partner, Jonathan Owens. A fan retweeted it, questioning her dating life. However, in true Simone Biles style, she had a fitting reply!

Biles has been dating Jonathan Owens for over a year now. The couple is head over heels in live with each other and often take to social media to express their love.

On Sunday, the lovers went for a night out and Biles was happy to post about it on Twitter.

Responding to her tweet, her follower tweeted, “This another one.”

The comment seemingly provoked Biles, who took a stand for her relationship and reiterated, “Same man I’ve been dating for over a year now.”

Athletes and their dating lives have always been a matter of interest for fans. However sometimes, fans do end up crossing the line and invade the private space of the athletes. But Biles handled the situation as well as she could, providing a fitting reply.

Biles withdrawing from the Olympics made a significant change in the way people look at mental illness. She once shared on Instagram that sports isn’t easy, and is quite  stressful. The amount of pressure athletes have on their shoulders is beyond imagination.

“I know I brush it off and make it seem like pressure doesn’t affect me but damn sometimes it’s hard hahaha!” Biles wrote.

“The truth is that I have suffered long bouts of depression since the US Open in 2018 and I have had a really hard time coping with that,” revealed Biles.

Her step of opening up to the world about her mental health has encouraged other athletes to speak up as well. The 24-year-old has gone a lot, yet never gave up. This speaks to her testament as one of the greatest athletes, nay, people, to ever step on the hallowed ground of the Olympics.
