Although England is winless in their previous two encounters, they come into this game as favorites. They will be high on confidence after their thumping win over Iran on Match Day 1. In contrast, USMNT played out a draw against Wales.

Regardless of the stature of the English team, Gregg Berhalter is full of confidence ahead of the game. Berhalter said“I believe that on our best day we can beat anyone in the world, anyone. It is a great honor to play in the World Cup, but we don’t want to just be participants. We want to perform.”

Berhalter postponed the Thanksgiving dinner in a bid to take care of the diet of the players ahead of a crucial game. He wanted players to have more focus on the preparations for the game.
