The veteran started talking about the goals in the finals of the Champions League and World Cup. He added, “I don’t know, a goal that I always remember and I don’t go much for the goal and for what the goals mean, it’s the goal against Real Madrid, which we beat 2-0 in that Champions League semifinal, at the Bernabeu. I think that the most significant goals are always the most important ones, but for now, I would stick with one of those.”

The 2010/11 semifinals of the Champions League was declared an El Clasico after Barcelona defeated Shakhtar Donetsk and Real Madrid got past Tottenham Hotspur in the quarterfinals. The first leg took place at the Santiago Bernabeu, where both sides couldn’t find a goal in the first half. Somehow, Pep Guardiola’s side managed to unlock the defense as Messi broke the deadlock in the 76th minute.
Moments later, La Pulga passed the ball to Sergio Busquets, who left the ball for Messi. The little magician managed to dribble past four Madrid players and neatly tuck the ball in the bottom-left corner by beating Iker Casillas.
